How to bring your asawa (spouse) or girlfriend abroad:

What  you need to know first?
First of all you need to know that the European union (schengen) don't have open borders. At the first half of 2004 , European countries  but specially the Netherlands want to sharpen the rules for refugees and also for family reunification. Therefore if you want to go to Europe, following the legal way, you will meet a long time of waiting and your patient will be proved by government departments. The best way is to have one contact in each required department to talk to.
What papers does  your asawa need?
The papers you need depends on which kind of visa you need. The most needed visa's are: family reunification /Partner reunification/Tourist visa/Working permit/ Study visa/au pair or medical.

The papers you need can be different for each visa request, it depends also on how and if your country is reliable to western countries.  Beside that is it the question how you have to deliver the papers to the embassy of the country you want to travel. To make it clear for you, we handle  the papers from the Philippines to the Netherlands, which country is part of the Schengen pact in Europe and therefore the most handled rules and regulation will be the same or like lauded for other Schengen countries at least they should be. Alas the rules which the Dutch government  handle are not as transparent like they should be. At the Dutch embassy in Manila you can ask the Assistant Attaché to talk to.

Which way to follow?

There are 2 ways to for fill the request.

1.by the European partner following the referee procedure (recommended )
