Sunshine, uncomplicated simply life often even primitive. Freedom in business and less regulations then in our western countries. Beautiful women mostly not emancipated like western women, who'll love you even when you're old or ugly.

A dream of many men? Don't think its that easy .There are traps when you're not prepared. The first rule they have when they meet a foreigner: "get his money"- "let him marry you" -"let him take you out of the country, so you can support your family with his money"-"get independent from him after that". These are some of the idea's they might have but there are exceptions when you meet the right person( i know a lot of them still didn't see one). Now a days they also have the experience that these rules aren't working and that the woman will be treated as bad as they treated there husbands but forget when they are bad in the first place. Still when you come for your first visit, be warned , they will spend all your money you have with you or in you bank account. Filipina want the man to support them financially from day 1 they meet, its their way to see if the man is serious for a relationship, when the relation will brake up ,at least they had the good life from your money. When the relationship however is long lasting, you might have found yourself a good wife. The question has to be, is this all unfair?

Poverty

Considered that the most of them are poor and fight hard to have food every day, those who are so poor that you can have sex with them even for a can of sardines which will be the only thing that they will eat that day. I don't think its unfair. The one who use such a girl earns to be treated like that. Still even when you will meet a family who has money they will take your money anyway,  why? Don't think they will love you because you love yourself,  why are you going there anyway? To love the women and find an spouse? We better question ourselves, who is bad in the first place? They will love you because they need you and use you, your money and for the American dream, the green card ,from who they believe its their escape for a better live. They will go with you to have all the western benefits and a foreign passport. To be self supporting is their goal and yes bleu eyes, blond hair and white skin will make them love you also. When a Filipino is serious in her relationship with you ,she wants to get pregnant as soon as possible. Its her insurance to get what she want at last, you are her tool to get that.

Family orientated

For them its all for the family in the first place, the place in their live where they always can go back  when they needed them. So its not that strange that they will do every thing for them also ,when they are abroad. Still they think that its always better in the western world, quote that it will be for many of them, but why should you take them out? Wouldn't it be better to stay there with them in their country? In mine opinion it will , cause  with our western money you and they can have a great live. Labor is cheap and you can buy a home and lot for less, you can have a maid and nanny for the children, things what's in the western world only affordable for the rich. It only has to be possible to do and that's  might not be possible for every one. Filipina's now a day can be a good wife and partner  as long as you treat them right, they will fight for you to get what she want and you'll be welcome in their family that is obvious because with your money she will support her whole family. Beside the culture different and there wishes to send money to their family and even do everything to get their sisters and parents abroad also, they still will be good women who do more for you then the most western women will do. In a way they are trained to serve their husbands (asana training), they will spoil you. Men will  lye when they would say that they don't like that. But there are also experience that as soon as they are definitive abroad,  they can change the other way around, and let you work for them and their family. Well you can count on that. Even they will search for other filipina so that they have a help as a cover up when you are bad in their opinion to her. The reason for that is aksely by them self, why do they think you will be bad anyway when you are fresh married?? Answer: they just follow their pad to get the green card and passport, send as much from your money to their family and work to be independent by them self, you are just a tool to get what they want.....yes they call it love.

When you meet Filipina's most of them will have a past with bad things that happens to them or which they did them self. Consider that you also have to life with that. 

Filipina are mostly catholic and very religion, they say you can find virgins  in the province but at 14 yrs old Filipino boys will already hunt for that. Hookers you find mostly in the malls and bars.

The people in this country are suffering under corruption and poverty, there are families which are enormously wealthy like the Ayala's who are in charge of many business in Makati (Manila). The contrast of poor and rich  is big and therefore normal people are undisciplined ,they'll steal and hook around when the opportunity is there. Causes by hunger and no job the most of them don't even know what to do with their live. For many reasons filipina aren't disciplined in several ways.

TRAVEL

Its therefore that it will be unwise to travel without a local person there are a lot of hiking's  in Jeepney's (little bus) where they cut your purse and try to steel your money even there are hold ups in these jeepneys and in several area's. In the south (Mindanao) are Muslims who kidnap Caucasians for ransom. Consider that this can happen to you everywhere. When you travel with your Asawa (spouse) they will think that she will have your money (see line 2) and when you're without her the prices will rise in a minute. But after all there is a good hospitality and in malls, they only want you to spend money like in the western countries. When you drive from the airport to a hotel make a price with the taxi driver before you go, there's a big change that he will drive you around more then necessary  so you have to pay more. You also better look at a taxi with an orange sticker on the windshield meaning that his meter is controlled. However this doesn't mean he can't rip you of because he just has to push a button on the meter to get double tariff which only is allowed during traffic hours.  Gasoline is cheap.

A jeepney cost 5,50 pesos for a short ride, fx or tricycle cost 11 pesos a person, depending on the distance.

FOOD

Filipino's eat almost everything. When you're with a family they will offer you ballot  duck eggs with a 1 day old duck embryo in it. They like it but normally western people don't eat it.

We western can't drink their water or eat from the stalls in the streets. Take  care that every thing will be cooked, fried , baked or peeled, otherwise don't eat. To be sure you better ask what is on the table cause they can serve you dogs, cats, frogs, mouse .rat and snake.

Beside this, the normal kitchen is good and tasteful with a lot of rice and pork, fish or chicken and it is absolutely recommendable.

Money changers

If you want to change money, you better don't go to money changers and especially not in Malate or Mabini, where all the foreigners life. The best rates you still get in SM mall exchange or the airport.

Visa Extension

Your visa for visiting the Philippines as a foreigner is just 21 days value. Before you go you better ask for a visa at the Philippine embassy in your country it saves money and a lot of nerves and long waiting in lines at the bureau of immigration in Manila, where you have to go if you want to extend your visa in the Philippines .When you, re already married to a filipina, she can ask for balikbayan stamp in your passport at the airport, with this you can stay a year, no extension in between needed. 

Marriage:

When you meet a filipina in her country for the first time don't think she has wait for you her whole past life. That means that there will be a lot of history in love with her and you better be sure if that's not against the law or what you want. In some cases filipina,s go with a foreigner just for his money and have a filipino man or friend at home in the province. You better track her past and civil status to be sure and ask her to go with her to her family.

Beautiful country

The Philippines is one of the most beautiful countries the world is rich. Not only by his wonderful nature and whitesand beaches. When you go for a vacation you should have visit the south like boracay, palawan, bohol and much more dream islands. Beware for the treats like mentioned above, but that doesn't mean you should stay away. This country is very special also for the people who will spoil you and give you a nice and very cheap vacation. .
